Nancy Bian, RCC

About Me:

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a multicultural background in education and counselling. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Philadelphia, USA, and a Master’s degree in Counselling from the College of William and Mary in Virginia, USA. After a decade-long journey through high school to grad school in the U.S., I relocated to Vancouver.

I lived in five different cities across three countries. My experiences have deepened my understanding of cultural differences and identity awareness. With this background, I am dedicated to offering caring, warm, inclusive, and non-judgemental counselling support to individuals navigating life’s challenges and transitions.

My Practice:

I am passionate about working with Grade 1-12 school-aged children, youth and their families, as well as providing individual counselling to young adults and adults. I have experience in public, private, and all-girls schools. Whether you are facing the complexities of parenting, navigating the pressures of school or work, experiencing the challenges of new environments, or adjusting to a new phase in life, I am here to support you unconditionally on your journey. I hope to help you find the encouragement to make positive changes, recognize your unique strengths, and build self-confidence.

I integrate Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) into my therapeutic approach. My services are offered in both English and Mandarin.
